View Full Version : [kubuntu] Konqueror opens new windows in size of last popup

Hi There,

I have found an annoying side effect of the window size remembering in KDE:

Sometimes, I need to allow popups, e.g. for vdradmin.
This service uses popups in a much smaller window size for showing detail information.
When I open a new Konqueror window (no matter if via Ctrl-N or via K-Menu) after having opened a popup, the new window opens in the size of the popup.

But if I specify a window size for Konqueror in the Systemsettings, the poups will open in the big size afterwards, too.
So, I have either all windows in the same big size or the size of new main windows depends on when I opened a popup last time.

But I would like to have different sizes for the main window and the child windows (popups).

Any ideas how I can specify my window size only for the main window or to have seperate size settings for the main and child windows ?

Thanks and Regards,
