Trying to run Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash (all CS4) under Wine. Which version of Wine would be best at running the above 3? And if there are inherent difficulties, how would I get around them?
I checked the Crossover Compatibility Centre to see if Crossover ran CS4, and according to it, CS4 doesn't want to work under Crossover :-( So I am wandering if there is any chance at getting Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash CS4 working under Wine.

Check the Wine AppDB, or try it and see.

The most recent version of Wine will almost always be best, but check the Wine AppDB to see how well those applications work. I'd guess you'd be better off using Windows, dual booting or using a virtual machine if you really need those applications.

YAY! Wine has Gold standard for Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and CS3 Flash! That's cool
But I'm gonna try out Kompozer. Realised that there was newer versions that didn't crash when I try to add a flash object!

Grrr! For some reason, Dreamweaver won't install under wine 1.1.17 (the version that actually lets Dreamweaver install). Apparently, I need to use winetricks, but I don't get the part about using "winetricks msxml6 gdiplus gecko vcrun2005 ie6". What exactly do I do there?
By the way, I did install winetricks.

Can you post a link to the instructions you're referring to?
That might just be a terminal command to get winetricks to install some stuff you need.
