In a previous Ubuntu release (prior to 9.04), GNOME Sudoku included the ability to load your own puzzle. This was particularly useful when trying to solve puzzles from other sources because you could use all of the tools provided by GNOME Sudoku, such as automatic error detection and the scratchpad in each square. At some point, this capability was removed, much to my chagrin. Does anyone know the specific release in which this was done and why this was done? The current release I have is GNOME Sudoku 2.26.1.

You have to pay sudoku royalties to enter your own puzzles. Something to do with bad Fung Shui. Don't use 4, it's bad luck.
