hi,
i want to play jedi academy with some music playing at the same time. it works good until i want to load a saved game or a multiplayer level. during the loading screen, it just goes to the consol and my resolution gets messed up. i just restart the computer but when i atempt it again, it does the same exact thing.
help....

I think its the game's way of telling you to enjoy the awesome soundtrack that JA has ;P

Hey i have jedi academy and I was wondering when I try to run it it tells me that cd1 isnt in the drive it is and i dont know what im doing wrong could you please help

is the cd1 in the drive?
i use cedega so i dont know.

yes cd1 is in the drive and it refuses to read. you say cedega works well with ja?

Yes it does. Except for one bug with using the special KATA attacks. I'm sure there's a simple bind for it.

actually i found it out. the kata attacks.
you push mouse1, then mouse2. not simultatneouly. this thread is out my sound card problem, not the cd1 drive messup. :-)

if you are using wine to run JA you need to go in the terminal and type winecfg then go over to drives. make a new one make the path to /media/cdrom0 <- i think and them make the drive type to cd-rom
