Tight. I like it. I am always a fan of dark themes, definitley black. Your theme has an elegant appeal, which I like.

Good job!

Cheers.

For anyone that downloaded the theme earlier I've uploaded a newer version that fixes some bugs people have spotted.

if you figure out how to control font color in dialog windows, like run command, please let me know. I've been after that one for over a year

Open your Home directory and create a folder named .fonts

Be sure to include the period before the name. Then copy your fonts into there. They now should be selectable from the Fonts configuration dialog.

Everyone else, thank you for the kind comments. :)

What, specifically, are you tring to change?

I've only had a little success altering font colours for checkbox and radiobutton text that are on top of the notebook widget.

Whatever you have feel free to throw my way. I don't know much about GTK themeing, but I'm learning and I love breaking things. :D

:D
everything!
I want complete control. Example: tabs
why can't a fon't color be specified for tabs?

menuitem/menubar
oh I can change the menuitem but that can sometime mess with the menubar, as you've seen.

run dialogs and on and on....
if we can't move arounf the theme we can't do much creative

I know there's more out there but what? On another forum I asked this and said devel should step up to the plate and spit out some answers. The result? GTKLabel that you have also now used in your theme. So what else is available? We don't know. How much more could be with one day of editing the pixmap engine source? From whay I've been told, quite a lot. So why hasn't it? Email devel about this and get no reply and nothing changes. Lame!

I agree that the pixmap theme engine could use some work. If I didn't have to feel guilty about putting off real work, I wouldn't mind jumping in myself. :-D

I didn't get your last update, and gnome-look is down right now, but if you haven't figured out the menubar button issue

at least I think this is what you are going for

Thanks. I'mtrying to make menu items have a hover effect (file, edit, view, etc) I was sure i'd seen this in other themes but now it looks like i was wrong.

Where was the other forum?

I'm having a few issues with the pixmap engine at the minute. :S

I asked about this here and the reply was
No the menubar does not have any prelight. But the eg. the redmond engine has a hack for this.

It is currently not possible in gtk to move the menuitems around (at least not without some ugly hacks inside the engine).
Also, if you are trying to get a background only for the items, and not the whole menubar ... this is not possible without changes to gtk or an engine hack.

btw on your last update the insensitive combobox button font color is white.

why no aa on the button corners? Helps a lot with the black button.
