Hi

I have tried and keep trying the addresses in the main thread to no avail :(

Can somebody please let me know the exact addresses please for the warty backports main, restricted, universe and extra's

I know this seems like a really stupid question but I am hitting my head against the wall at the moment

Thanks everyone :)

Darren

Ok. Currently, I'm transferring the entire 1.2GB repository from cloud9 to the Ubuntuforums server -- So, probably cloud9's upload bandwidth is FILLED...

Thanks for explaining what you are doing now.

I look forward to getting old of the new addresses once it is completed, but I would assume is will be practically the same as the normal ubuntu update addresses which warty replaced by warty-backports i guess?

I certainly appreciate all the hard work everyone is putting in.

Take care

Darren

New Adresses in the meantime?

Ugh, what a mess... Sorry, the repository has been temporarily disrupted...

Ubuntu-geek's working on Subversion on the Forums server, while the sysadmin on cloud9 mindlessly did an etc-update and overwrote my Subversion repository config files....

Hang tight, we're working on resolving this.

Have you managed to resolve this yet ? If so where can we find the addresses please :)

Thanks

Sorry, waiting on Ryan (Ubuntu-geek) to troubleshoot server config issues!

Cloud9 has been officially disabled by me as of an hour ago -- the host's bandwidth is 100% saturated to the point that the poor guy couldn't even SSH into his box.

we're one step closer: just some chmodding, and we're set!

And thanks ubuntu-geek for the webspace! :-)

Thanks, jdong. I'm posting this from my newly installed Firefox 1.0.

Will you be fixing the links in the "Welcome..." thread? http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=8486

Also, does this mean http://ubuntu-bp.sourceforge.net/ is now obsolete?

Check them both now. :) I think that resolves the issue.

NOTE: We're still under a few intermittent issues, which may temporarily disrupt access. Please be patient during this transition period!

This ist the right address, isn't it?

http://backports.ubuntuforums.org/backports/

It worked only in the beginning, the last days it got "404 File not Found"...

Anything changed?

We tried to add SSL, and that was a flop. It should work now, until we try to add SSL in again :-D
