At the Mythbuntu Jam last weekend Andrew Keyes and I brainstormed our way into deciding upon the Manayunk Diner for our Karmic Koala (9.10) release party on Halloween from 2-6PM. By Monday Jim Fisher had booked the location.

Date : Saturday October 31st, 2009
Time : 2:00 pm
Location : Manayunk Diner
3722 Main St
Philadelphia, PA 19127

And costumes are ENCOURAGED! Every year only a few of us dress up, everyone else brings along the excuse "I didn't want to be the only one" - you won't be :)

And you can enjoy the obnoxious graphic I put together because I fail at design ;)

Not yet, you should start planning one! The last was well-attended, probably just need to pick a place and tell people about it :)

Thank you for the response. If I were to arrange it, I would have to say the same place as previous in the Fox and Hound, but I would like some input to the date and time. 7:00 seems well rounded, but the date I could use suggestions on.

Should I start a new thread?

Should I start a new thread?

That's a good idea :)

Once you have the details sorted, this page has a bunch of outlets for getting the word out to everyone on the team:

Thanks to everyone who came out! We had 13 attendees, including a couple folks who made the trek out from New Jersey and one fellow from Maryland :)
