View Full Version : Emerald only loading titlebar

Installed emerald to change the theme of my Ubuntu... however when I load a theme, it only changes the titlebars... the rest of the screen uses whatever themes selected under system-> appearence.
Please could someone help!

Yes, that is right. Emerald is a window decorator and only change the windows' borders. The widgets still uses the Gtk theme.

That is what Emerald is supposed to do. No more, no less.

then how do i get the full window themes?

when i apply this, I don't get the full window transparancies/theme, just the very top bar...

The window contents are part of a different theme not handled by emerald. The terminal can be made transparent itself in the terminal preferences.
