What are the best Digital Circuit Simulator applications available for ubuntu?

Digital Simulator has a toolbar of digital circuit elements, including logic gates, flip-flops, switches, and indicators. Drawing a circuit with Digital Simulator is like using a paint program. You click the element's icon on the toolbar, then click where you want the element to go. You use a similar procedure to draw wires and indicate connections.

Since I've been in school, we have used a program called logisym. I think it's open source, and it is fairly simple to use. It requires that you already know something about the subject though. If you cannot get a hold of Logisym, then check in the repo.

I use Diglog from Berkley. Finding it may be a bit hard but that is the fun of it and then you have the compile hell :p. The full name is Chipmunk Diglog...

I agree on the powerful but not the simple part. It took me a while to find out how to do fourier analysis. And I don't like the part that it uses peak VAC and not RMS VAC.
And I cannot find a way to tabluar Harmonic frequencies vs magnitudes.

Actually, if you don't want to download anything into your computer, teahlab.com is a website where you can build and simulate your own circuits online. They also have a huge library of interactive circuits with truth tables, videos, and articles. I just found out about it through a friend.

ktechlab is another good one. Does a decent job with basic analog circuits as well. mmlogic I've used for years, a windows program, runs ok in wine.
