Americas army and Frame rates

i used to play Americas Army on Windows XP, it ran perfect, no problems.
Now im running AA on Ubuntu (Gnome) and the FPS seems to be very low.. is there a way to tweak the FPS? Im using a toshiba R/10 tablet that has a toshiba graphics card, witch 64 mb independind memory. I Have 512 mb of ram.

As far as I know nearly everybody has low framerates with Americas Army.

but mine is so low, that the game laggs. i usualy get framerates up to 60-70 fps.


is there any way to direct render or increase my frames?

I don't think there is. The game is very jerky for me. I would make a guestimate that 30-40 fps would be about right yet I get alot lower.

I swear that I got better performance from my old nvidia MX than this ATi Radeon 9250. Out of curiosity what card do you have?
