Since this was made with the GIMP and this is an art forum I thought I'd just post this here to get some feedback on what people think of it. It's a conceptual piece.

That is a very nice piece of art.

I been trying to tell everyone GIMP is great, it just takes a little getting used to and learning its tools.

No, but really, he's right. GIMP is a powerful tool and can be used to make great stuff like this, but again, people are used to the Windows derivative, Photoshop, myself included. I know, I am ashamed of myself. :(

Thanks heaps for the kind words, everyone. It's really flattering getting such positive comments especially from people that I really respect as artists based on their work I've seen floating around the community (Speck, alex.rayu, I'm looking at you)

I'm entering this piece at the local show in my town this month, hoping to get some good feedback there and get a chance to plug using the GIMP wherever I can. ;D
