I am not going to be able to explain this properly. Here goes....

On the main desktop when my mouse hovers over a particular icon, another icon on the screen gets selected. It usually happens on the horizontal row a couple icons to the left. Its like the pixel x,y coordinates of the layout of the display isn't quite right. Maybe Remix doesnt play nice with the Inspiron 700m.

Also, if i try to TAB over to the middle of the display to the icons, if i use the arrow keys up and down, the next position the selection jumps to is diagonal and not straight up and down.

Its a very bizarre phenomenon.

Anyone see anything like this?

I may have seen something similar in the Ubuntu Netbook Remix. Here's a video I made:

I installed Moblin Remix on a Sony Vaio (the one in my signature), and the behavior is just too out there to even describe - and I don't want to be off topic in this thread.

Having said that, I am not sure what the solution is.

You are at least further than I am. I am also using a 700m, but I can not get any of the icons on the left to select. Sometimes they will but not most of the time.
