Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a good Oberon-2 (technically, Oberon/L) compiler. I know, I know, there's oo2c, ... well, at least, there was. I've tried to build it from source, but it always fails (something about an empty XML file).

Anyway, are there other good compilers? Is there an IDE available (e.g. I know of Oberon/F on Windows)?

Thanks.

There is the BlackBox Component Framework, which runs nicely with Wine under ubuntu LTS. It implements Component Pascal, which is a the heir of Oberon/L ...

It is available at http://www.oberon.ch/Blackbox.html
There is a slightly newer release candidate available here:

If you are interested in the changes for the last release candidate, please mail me at bernhard (at) wildwein de
