View Full Version : Did GTK panel buttons in Karmic become smaller

I upgraded to Karmic beta last week and noticed that the buttons in Gnome became smaller than they were in Jaunty (see the attachment, I use a New Wave theme). Is is a memory glitch (of mine) or indeed the case, and do you know is there a way to tweak them to make as large as in Jaunty?

They moved the text from under the icon to beside it, which saves a bit of vertical space.

You can revert to the old way under Prefs > Appearance > Interface

You can also change the size of the icons if you want to. Somewhere in gconf-editor I think, can't remember where though...
