Dell Precision T7400 sound

Hi.

I have a Dell Precision T7400 and I am trying to sound working on the system with no Luck under 8.10.

Module is loading I can set up a test but no sound is coming out.

Did anyone have the same problem? If so how to resolve it?

I have the same problem using Jaunty as well. Everything is up but no sound. :(

ALSACTL INIT 0 gives:

Hardware is initialized using a guess method


Any help out there?

Have the same problem with Jaunty and Lucid. Any new ideas?
