Hi all

I'm trying to use Parley application on gnome but I'm unable to write directly special characters like "à" (when trying it just writes "`a") I'd like also to be able to write Japanese characters. Up to now, I had scim perfectly working for all the applications I use. But when trying with Parley I can't succeed.

I have a clue that it could be a configuration problem with kde. But I've been unable to find out how to fix it.

I've tried also to look for alternative programs, but everything I've found seems to be developed for kde not gnome.

I will appreciate any help
