Plot:
The path of Francesca Johnson's future seems destined when an unexpected fork in the road causes her to question everything she had come to expect from life. While her husband and children are away at the Illinois state fair in the summer of 1965, Robert Kincaid happens turn into the Johnson farm and asks Francesca for directions to Roseman Bridge. Francesca later learns that he was in Iowa on assignment from National Geographic magazine. She is reluctant seeing that he's a complete stranger and then she agrees to show him to the bridges and gradually she talks about her life from being a war-bride from Italy which sets the pace for this bittersweet and all-too-brief romance of her life. Through the pain of separation from her secret love and the stark isolation she feels as the details of her life consume her, she writes her thoughts of the four-day love affair which took up three journals. The journals are found by her children after the lawyer was going over Francesca's will and all the contents which produces a key to her hope chest in the bedroom which contained some of hers and Robert's things. The message they take from the diaries is to what you what you have to do to be happy in life. After learning that Robert Kincaid's cremated remains were scattered off Roseman Bridge and that their mother requested that she too be cremated and her ashes to be scattered off Roseman Bridge, the children must decide whether to honor their mother's final wishes or bury her alongside their father as the family had planned. Adapted from the novel by Robert James Waller, this is the story of a special love that happens just once in a lifetime -- if you're lucky. Yup, got it pouring down here in AR. Uncle Richard and Aunt Susan (of UK, you guessed it) said it rains most of the time and does not snow. I likes it here in the upper south region where it's cold enough in winter to get an annual foot of snow, and warm enough in summer to go to the beach. Right now... The weather is somewhat dreary. :)
But then it is that time of year again anyway, guess I should expect it.
I especially like the second picture cause it looks like fools gold on the patio.
And the last one is inspired by "Air" by Nuno Pinheiro.

I love American houses. How they are made of wood. Or panels. Or something.
But what I don't get is, here in the UK where we don't get natural disasters; we build homes out of sturdy, solid brick.
In the USA where you get natural disasters you build you homes outta wood?
I'm sure there is some clever explanation, but it's always confuzzled me.

LOL. :)
Personally I think its because the average American can't afford to build their own house, (though we did build ours, took about four years to complete) so they get a premade one on credit (arghh, I hate the credit system, its ruining America) and since the ones they buy it from know that wood and tin are cheaper than brick, thats what the customers get. However, I cant say that most American houses are paneled, in fact lately I'm seeing more brick houses than ever. Downtown Hot Springs is full of 200-300 year old brick and clay houses, in fact. One of the most rustic places in the state.
Here's a picture of the newer part of downtown (notice the big hotel in the middle right, that one's been around 225 years and its where George Bush checks in when he comes to AR, its called the Arlington hotel.)

Also the only states that have real problems with hurricanes and such are the border and Gulf states. Katrina and Rita hit New Orleans pretty hard, but what can I say, THAT city totally deserved it. I think it was God's punishment myself- and they had been begging for it.
The only damage we've ever got here is a tree fallen from Ike last year.
Life is good down here in the South... :)
BTW here's a pic of one of the many hot springs that we are famous for: (trust me, the water will feel like you're scalding your fingers, the water's about 160 degrees)
If you wonder where the water comes from, there's actually a subterranean lake that is under extreme pressure due to volcanic heat and forces its way through cracks in the Earth's crustal rocks; somewhat like a Geyser (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geyser). See this link... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_springs)
