View Full Version : [ubuntu] Dell AIO 926 - Help Needed (Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.04)

Hey everyone,

I've looked at multiple forums on how to get my Dell AIO 926 printer to work with Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04, but with no avail. I've even gone through the installing of the Lexmark z600 drivers, with no avail. Isn't there a VALID way around getting my Dell printer to work in Ubuntu Jaunty? I'm a newbie to Ubuntu, so I'll need detailed instructions. Thank you for any help that you can give me! Also, has anyone compiled drivers for this particular printer yet? Thanks again!

Unfortunately,you have run into the same problem that I ran into. I have a 948 AIO.These printers are essentialy "paper weights"when it comes to trying to use them with Ubuntu(any current version).I currently am running 9.04 in dual-boot configuration with Vista.The Dell AIO printers use windows drivers.you might try dual -booting,or running a version of windows in a virtual machine.:guitar:
