Hello... I have Installed ubuntu and the KDE desktop Environment... I heard people saying Kubuntu will not work on a Mac.. OR it will kill it.. IS this true or not.. Thanks!

An OS can not and has not ever "destroyed" a computer because it was incompatible in some fashion....The closest you can come to destroying your computer is if you already have defective hardware...

An OS is just an interface between the user and the hardware....

You can't hurt your system...you may hear some propaganda from Apple that it may not work, but this is 2009...I think we are over that hump....

Give it a shot. The worst that can happen is you will get a few more good years from your system.

well, it works.... I'm using right about now.... I have a guide on how to install kubuntu jaunty jackalope somewhere around here....

It works just as well as Ubuntu :)
