Looks nice. The right of the wallpaper is a little too dark for me.

The Lynx doesn't feel 3D enough, I think the shadow is in the wrong place considering the lighting.

Thanks, I'll take a look at maybe lightening it up a little, and at redrawing the shadow. All comments are appreciated.

I'm on a different monitor now and it does look really dark. I did this on my laptop, which is pretty old, so it looks different depending on how the screen is angled.

I like the idea. Maybe it's my old eyes, but I'd like to see some more contrast, either brighter background colors or vice versa.

I like it. It's better than mine. Although I don't like the shadow behind the Ubuntu-logo, and it would be good in brown :]

Of course the photo you attached is better. Because it's true. Stylized images are beautiful only if they capture the expression better than the photo. Like this (sadly, not mine, and not best, but quite expressive):

I'll have to go with what alex.rayu said. You have to be more critical about your own art. The lynx is blurred and the colours are faded. And it doesn't really blend in with the rest of the image, anyway.

Why not make it one where people post wallpapers they like, or have created, and let people choose what they like? I'll still work on mine if people have suggestions, and if other people post theirs with hopes for feedback, great. More choices, getting ever better.
