hey guys i have installed et but when i want to start it i see the screen get bigger but then normal and then its normal again and i dont see any starts

Hi Milad,
try starting Enemy Territory from within a terminal window (Applications - Accessories - Terminal). Just type et and press enter.
Hopefully you'll get some informative error messages.
For me, the screen first behaves like you describe, but then I get the intro video. I have an ATI 9700 with driver version 1.3.5272 (X4.3.0-8.16.20) from the Ubuntu repositories.

woot same problem as me..... now we are kinda related, i was told that my drivers from envy were installed wrong so now im waiting on how to install it another way :(
