Skim is the kde fronted for scim , which is in dapper now , also it has been in ubuntu-cn ubntu-ja's repositary for a long time . so it's quite stable for backport to breezy now.

not possible - skim depends on scim >= 1.3.3 - current version in breezy = 1.0.2

scim is non-backportable - see https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-backports/2005-December/000626.html where I tried to backport it and cocked up :D
