Linux for PowerBook G4

Dear All,
I have Apple's PowerBook G4 notebook and i want to install Linux in that notebook, so please guide me what linux OS will be best to install.

i have the same computer, the 12" one. i have installed ubuntu 8.10, everything works well. i had to play a bit to get wifi working. it is fairly easy though and there are instructions. it is unlawful to post them here but i could email you the folder of firmware for it so you can skip the hassle. sound had to be done as well but it was very simple, modprobe snd-powermac and then add that line to /etc/rc.local
