Good Morning,
I'm trying to set up Mythbuntu 9.04 and have been successful (because of this forum). However, I have run into a snag that I first thought was a driver problem, but now I'm convinced it is an operator's headspace issue. I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple.
First off, When I watch TV, the screen is split horizontally, resulting in the same image twice on the screen one on top of the other, but squashed. Funny thing is that 3 of the channels are perfect with no split. All others split.
I am using the on-board video which is an ATI HD 3300. I downloaded and installed the newest drivers from the ATI website.
Any ideas? Thanks for the help!
Sam
I got my remote working last night. When I pressed the menu button on the remote, one of the options was video scan. I set the video scan to progressive and that fixed the split display problem.
However, It reverts back every time I change channels. How do I save the change to progressive scan?
Thanks for the help
