Q: Does Peek offer service outside of the US?
A:
Currently, we do not offer coverage internationally. However, we are hoping to offer international roaming sometime in the near future– please check back here for updates. Oh, and we hear you, Oh Canada! We’d love to offer Peek to our northern neighbors soon… if any one of you would rather see Peek offered first in another country, please feel free to submit your vote to feedback@getpeek.com!

They have also added some cool features:

Launching on the one-year anniversary of the email-centric handheld, Peek Apps isn’t an on-device download store like you would find on the iPhone or Android, but instead the culmination of service mashups that bring Facebook, Twitter and Google Maps to the Peek.http://www.slashgear.com/peek-apps-launches-twitter-facebook-more-1857221/

They also have peekmaps: http://www.peekmaps.com/

Which can sync with foursquare: http://foursquare.com/

Cheers for the info :P :DAn update on the info:

It appears you can use your Google Voice Number for texting

I wonder if you can use Google Wave also?

Also with DailyLit you can turn Peek into an inexpensive eBook Reader:

What is most interesting is the lifetime service they are offering:

I would love to be free from ATT or any other carrier monthly service fees!
