synchronized video on multiple computers

Hi,
I have multiple computers. I want to display a movie on all the displays.

I think there are different options:
- clone my whole X desktop via network
- clone only my videoclient
- use vnc(?) withouth compression (is that fast enough? i have 100mbit network)
- start a mediaplayer at the same moment (xine-remote?)

What is possible? Search for this subject looks quite hard because you only find multiplehead setups.

I tried xine broadcast and that works. In my setup no lag.
