Would it be possible to add a "who quoted me" option so you can be notified when someone quotes your post?

I could see that taking a moderate amount of space, but it does sound like a good idea. :)

There's quite probably a plugin for it, but I think around 80-90% of users (at least) will have it disabled, not to mention the additional server load it could generate.

Personally, if there is one, I wouldn't want it. But I know it's not standard :)

I'm aware of the strain it could cause on the servers. The idea isn't essentially mine. It's a sidebar on another forum and coincidentally this particular forum suffers horribly from server overloads. :P

One option might be to search the forums for your user name. That's assuming the person quoting you has used the "quote" button and hasn't edited out your user name.
