I recently bought Dell Vostro 1014 with preinstalled ubuntu 8.10, my difficulties are

1) can i upgrade to 9.04 by using the Dell customized 9.04 iso provided at www.linux.dell.com (http://www.linux.dell.com/)?
2) what happens if i used fresh copy of 9.04 ubuntu from www.ubuntu.com (http://www.ubuntu.com/), is there isssues with drivers due to using general copy of ubuntu ( not Dell customized )?
3) In above question, if there are chances of issues with drivers after installing from general copy of ubuntu 9.04, then which drivers i will be needing for Wifi,Webcam, etc?
4) where to find the drivers for ubuntu for Dell Vostro 1014?

thanks

1) Yes, but i recommend you use the standard ubuntu 9.04
2) Your computer will probably run a lot better
3) All things should work...there was a mic problem on some of the dell mini's but it is fixed in the next 9.10 release
4) All drivers will be installed with the standard ubuntu iso.
