I have a simple question. Does the alternate install work the same as the install from the LiveCD? Same options, etc.?

It is the same install ... only text-based instead of the nice GUI in the liveCD.

EDIT - Did not notice ubuntu-studio. Was referring to plain Ubuntu. Sorry.

Thanks for the reply. It should be the same install as the alternate Ubuntu. I just wanted to double-check. I'm just giving it a spin out of boredom. I installed Kubuntu last night for laughs. I like KDE all right, but it was pretty buggy, especially the package manager.

As for me ... I am not a KDE fan.
