Is anybody using NuTyX or tried it?

Thierry Nuttens has announced the release of NuTyX (http://distrowatch.com/nutyx) 2009, a distribution based on Linux From Scratch and CRUX, designed primarily for French-speaking intermediate Linux users.http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=05667

I wonder what other languages are enabled if any?

Also, does anybody know how to properly pronounce 'NuTyX'?

Fortunately for me it was just a 3 month old post that nobody else ever responded to...

whewwwwww! :P

EDIT: They have 8 different versions (well one is just a script):

Le script
La version "Mini"
La version "USB"
La version "base"
La version "LXDE"
La version "XFCE"
La version "GNOME"
La version "KDE"http://nutyx.dnsalias.org/#la_version_KDE

downloading the KDE version to give it a try.

NuTyx looks very beautiful and the fact it was built from Linux from Scratch is refreshing.

just a little scary that the documentation is all in French but that is where Google translate helps.

Pressing F2 doesn't show language option? Maybe selecting English from there?

BTW I have tried Fedora before and it sucks a LOT!

Okay I am back from playing with distros, that didn't take long.

NuTyx I could not figure out how to get beyond the French and it looks like an installation CD only...so I took off quick. :P

no there is no english installer
its only in french

but if you've used linux for some time
then its intuitive and you wont have any problems installing

Last thing a weary Linux user wants is hackling with language.

How could they?
