would you rather fall of the empirestate building or fall head first onto a concrete floor from 50 meters?

MC707
September 20th, 2009, 05:09 PM
I'd rather fall the empire state building [with a parachute on :P]. Would you rather fly when you fart or pee when you laugh?

Megrimn
September 20th, 2009, 11:24 PM
pee. It's easier to hide.

Would you rather do dishes or peel potatoes?

MC707
September 21st, 2009, 12:13 AM
Do dishes, definitely. I'd cut my entire hand trying to peel potatoes xD
Would you rather be naked in a crowd or be the ONLY one dressed in a nudist colony?

Would you rather have a constant cold forever, or use Windows ME forever?

MC707

I'd rather die, too much pain and torture in one single place :P.

Would you rather date someone very ugly with an extremely awesome personality, or date someone extremely attractive with a terrible personality?

Mr. Hibba
September 22nd, 2009, 01:08 AM
I guess I'd take the one with the better personality.

Which would you rather do, pinball or miniature golf?

Mini Golf with a few friends if I was :]

Would you rather IM someone who can't spell & has no sense of grammar, or someone who 'nudges' you all the time and puts lots of !!!!!!!!?????!?!?! if you take longer than 3 seconds to reply? ;]

Megrimn

I'll take the no sense of grammar dude over the other anyday.

WYR swallow a needle or write a 50-page research paper?

MC707
September 23rd, 2009, 12:58 PM
I'd write the paper. You never said it had to be done in less than 2 months! First, I'd get a good ol' nobel prize. Second, a needle could easily get stuck at any point of my digestive system, only needing a piece of potato to struck it in ANY vital or semi-vital organ.

Would you rather (this is for intelligent people, only one answer is 'correct' if you mind the analogy) be able to fortell the future, or have all the money you will ever need?

Would you rather (this is for intelligent people, only one answer is 'correct' if you mind the analogy) be able to fortell the future, or have all the money you will ever need?

Money, knowing the future would be horrible, think about it, always knowing what you are going to do and everything that will happen as a result, because if you decide not to do it you know what you're going to do then anyway, there'd never be any surprises, and you'd always know how you'd die and what it'd be like. As I said, horrible.

Would you rather go without the internet for a month, or forgo a computer entirely for 3 weeks?

I see your point. Many people, however, would prefer to predict because first, they'd get all horse racing bets and lottery right. Then they could know what will happen and based on that change horrible futures for humanity. For instance, people nowadays do not seem to give a single piece of damn about taking care of our planet. If somebody could predict exactly what would happen, the most likely to happen is that people would change their stupid selfish attitude towards everything.
I see my question is not a question for intelligent ones, but rather a debatable question. My apologies.

Anyway, I would probably forgo the computer for 3 weeks, because I could still boot to windows and play some games. I could even play Hedgewars with my brothers in Ubuntu, since you said no 'internet' but never mentioned no 'intranet' :P

Would you rather order a Base Delta Zero to planet earth, or an Orbital Bombardment to both the north and south pole?

Orbital bombardment; the Penguin Armies will not bring up the shields in time to defend the Ice House.

Would you rather take the blue pill and have the story end before waking up in your bed and believing what you want? Or, would you rather take the red pill, stay in Wonderland and see how deep the rabbit hole goes?

MC707
September 23rd, 2009, 03:30 PM
I go for the red pill. Despite how painful or pleasant truth may be, I prefer not to stay on the blissful ignorance of illusion.

Would you rather take a (space) freighter full with millions of megatons worth of anti-matter bombs towards an oncoming asteroid that would crumble human civilization and all the biosphere, or take a nimble ship and escape to the nearest alied alien solar system? (please be honest)

If I could have that special someone on the ship with me, escape.
If I was on my own, crash into the asteroid.

Hmm.
Well I work in Miles (I'm British), so I'm not sure how fast that is :]
But, the train.
Because when I get the train I go from Manchester to Cardiff.
& that takes ~3hours 45 minutes.
So I would get there a lot faster, no? ;]

Would you rather go on holiday to somewhere REALLY hot, or somewhere constantly cold and snowy/icy?

130 kilometer/hour = 80.778 254 991 mile/hour (mph)
320 kilometer/hour = 198.838 781 52 mile/hour (mph)

I'd prefer to go somewhere really constantly cold and snowy. Here we got plenty of beautiful beaches (with beautiful chicks ;)), but I've never been to a snowy place. I'd love do do skiing or snowboarding

Would you rather be on Venus or on Titan?

Megrimn

titan. I would rather be frozen than melting.

kiss a rabid dog - the train would certainly kill me - while I could put a bite guard in the dog's mouth (you never said the dog didn't have a mouth guard!)

Speak and understand all human languages!
Think of the coolness of it.
You can teach people any language in schools and make a fortune, and you wouldn't have to rely on online translators for stuff D:
