Hi, have recently switched from windows to ubuntu 9.04 and everything working but the sound, however this problem began while still using windows. Have tried working through sound problem advice threads and switching between alsa and oss to no avail. Farely convinced this is a hardware issue but not sure how to confirm this (beyond what i've done with the software). Does anyone know of a good way to test this theory and if hardware is the issue then any advice on the best way to get round this would be most appreciated.
