Hello all,
I would like to take picture, and perhaps even record video, through my webcam. I'm running Kubuntu 9.04. I tried installing Cheese from Adept and I also found a separate package, the results are identical.
My webcam is found yet nothing happens except a loading icon (circle going round and round) and I can neither take pictures nor video through Cheese. I tried taking a picture and I get a countdown and a flash but nothing happens.
Any help? I'd appreciate an alternative for Cheese, the important for me is taking pictures with my webcam.
Webcam works fine with Skype by the way.
