I have a Dell Precision M4400 with a 370 Bluetooth card, Ubuntu 9.04 32bit clean install. The default Bluetooth manager has never worked for me so I always use Blueman. But this time it would pair and trust but never connect to input service. I got mine to connect after uninstalling all bluetooth related software(Bluez, Blueman, etc.) and reinstalling Blueman from the PPA repositories 3 times. I hadn't changed anything Between the reinstalls it just worked the 3rd time.
I didn't have this problem with Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit, I just installed Blueman and it worked.
But I searched for days trying to find the solution but came up empty handed. So maybe this will help someone.
