So, the things look like that

Before
sda - 80gb used for OS's running Xp and Ubuntu (ntfs/ext3)
sdb - 400gb used for storage and media (reiserfs)

after that I had install on
/sda1 - Xp (25gb/NTFS)
/sda2 - backtrack (10gb/reiserfs)
/sda3 - ubuntu (40gb/reiserfs)
and other space on this disk for swap

when i try to install ubuntu, every time the installer shows that have some error, and shows me that sdb can't be mount,i try different directories but doesn't work. After installation the partition editor shows that hard drive, but i still can't mounted anywhere. So, please can you help me?

Does backtrack really need all of that space? I thought it actually ran best from a thumbdrive.
