View Full Version : [ubuntu] so much errors

i have installed so many packages in my ubuntu hardy,and some of the dependency files not installed correctly,so when i am opening my any package,it shows some error for all packages

so i need to install once again those packages what i have to do? to install that missing dependency files only

it just shows the missing file

for example, when i am opening mplayer [lib_module not found]

but video plays ,similarly has been for all packages

Open up Synaptic (System > Admin > Synaptic). If there are any packages with broken dependencies it will tell you. You can go to Status > Broken and reinstall the packages/dependencies to fix the problem.

thats what happends to me, thats why i just reinstalled it ubuntu and called it a day

if you want to grow up, and study ubuntu's knowledge much more! i suggest that you must solve your problems one by one ,don't reinstall system while you can't solve your problems!
