Hi all.

I have been mucking around with the eye candy stuff on my laptop, and I'm just wondering if it is possibly to edit the behavior of the window picker applet.

In particular, I have enabled (in System -> Preferences -> keyboard shortcuts) the window picker to be Alt-Tab (instead of 'Move between windows, using a popup window'), and I want to edit it so that I can press tab to toggle between the windows (such as like we can normally when using the popup window thingy).

I am using Compiz Settings manager also, and I know the window picker stuff is in the "Scale" options, but I can't wee anywhere to allow me to use tab to switch between windows, or to show minimized windows in the list.

Any ideas anyone?

i'm not sure i understand, but i think what you want is the raise & lower that is disabled. see pic

I don't think that's it. I guess what I'm looking for is an option inside the "window picker" applet that will allow me to edit keyboard bindings. For example, (if you haven't changed anything like this since the basic install) if you press Alt+Tab you will get a popup with the open windows, and you can press tab to switch between the options. I want to be able to do the same in the window picker applet (currently i can use arrow keys, but i just wanted to tweak it so tab will work).

If there isn't a way to do it then i might contact the developers and see if they know...

Cheers anyway!
