I've noticed today that my laptop won't go in standby mode.

When I select Suspend from Shutdown menu... system shuts down all hardware, network, display etc. But immediately wakes up...

Anyone had similar issues?

My older HP zv6131us have to close lid then open then close again in order to properly suspend. Very strange but seems to work.

kind of like checking the mailbox to make sure the letters are not stuck. haha.

With me suspend never works. I can see that everything is prepared for suspend but all it does is switch to console screen and then back on "Unlock" screen. :(

The worst thing is, suspend worked after one of earlier updates...
