I bought a new Lexmark X3580 All in one Printer yesterday.

Installed the Software that came with the Printer but was unable to Print either Documents or Photos from the Computer, but could use the Card readers and the Copier that are on the Printer.

Connected it to my Second Machine a eMachine about 5 years old running XP Home, installed the software from the same CD (It contains according to the Blurb both Vista and XP software) everything wored perfectly, although a lot slower than the Vista would.

When I try to Print from the Vista Comp. all the Print commands go into the Print Queue and I cannot delete them. When I re-installed the software over the existing the Print Queue then started to print but afterwards No Print commands would work.

I cannot uninstall the Software, it would not let me because of the Still awaiting in the Print Queue.

The Printer is marked as a 2007/07 dated machine.

Anyone able to help, maybe with a URL for an update........Lexmark site is of no help.

Have you notice you are asking Vista and XP related questions in a Linux forum?

There's your problem. Get anything else... HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, etc.
