Starling Netbook

I received my net book last week and I am really pleased with it.
I have updated the system via my DSL connection and everything went without a hitch.

I have a question. I have never used a WIFI connection and will not have one available until next week when we go on vacation. Will the Starling just recognize that a connection is available and bring it up or is there something I will have to do?

This is the second machine I have purchased from 76 and both have been top notch.

Make sure you run your System76 Driver (Admin > System76 Driver > Install (tab) > Install (button)). Then reboot. You probably should do that after running updates.

All you will have to do is click on the Network Manager icon in the upper right of your screen. It will show you all available wireless access points. Then just click on the one for your hotel.
