I have a Z60m IBM and I'm running Jaunty

I experiance slow startup before password and its pretty dragging while trying to start up after that. Compiz was messing it up and I *think* I got all of it erased. What else can I do...or how can I see what's starting unnecesserly?

It could be your graphics card... Do you play a lot of games or something? You might just have some trouble loading graphics..

Or, go to Applications > Accessories > Disk Usage Analyzer

Tell me the percent it says in the Disk Usage Analyzer.

What's your pc specs?

Do you have the latest driver install for your graphics card? Is your system up to date?
