I can not delete any files in the web interface. Is this being worked on or is the feature not even made yet?

I have noticed this as well. I cannot delete a file using the client either - seem to have lost ability to sync.

It worked for me until recently. Now I have a file that appears on the web interface that has been deleted from my computer. I cannot delete it or the folder that it is in from the web interface. I have added and removed files in other sub folders with no problem, but this one has a life of its own.

This is a known issue currently and we're working on fixing it. My apologies to everyone for the inconvenience.

Hello cameleon
I've just started to use Ubuntu One on the grounds that it is 2Gb of free storage and backup :-)
After the initial phaff setting it all up, I can synch files between a PC and a laptop. Both run 'stock' Ubuntu Lucid.
In my account, files and folders on the Ubuntu One web site have a 'more' drop down next to them. The 'drop down' has a 'share' button and a 'delete' button, all except the 'top level' of a folder that has been shared with the right click. See attached screen shot.
Can you not see the dustbin when you log into U1?

Hi,
Thanks for this answer. The problem in my case is that the file "1er 4 pattes.avi" doesn't have a "delete" button, see attachment for details:160999
So how can I remove it???

Hello el cameleon
Then you seem to have the same problem that I have, see
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1513379
The avi file is in the top level of your storage.
I have a folder that I synchronised to test U1 then 'unsynchronised' again using the FAQ at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/FAQ#How%20do%20I%20stop%20synchronizing%20a%20fold er%20outside%20my%20~/Ubuntu%20One%20folder
I was then left, after deleting all the folders under that folder, with the empty folder in U1.
I then followed the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/FAQ#How%20do%20I%20remove%20a%20folder%20I%20previ ously%20selected%20to%20synchronize%20with%20Ubunt u%20One?
and found that the empty folder disappeared in U1. You need to check how to use the u1sdtools for removing a file as opposed to a folder.

Thanks keithpeter, it works well for me with the indication given here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/FAQ#How%20do%20I%20remove%20a%20folder%20I%20previ ously%20selected%20to%20synchronize%20with%20Ubunt u%20One?
