Just wondering how to run a command at startup using scripts or adding lines to files (not using the fancy graphical interface apps). Just as more of a learning experience (trying to delve deeper into linux)!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

But if you really must, it should be ~/.config/autostart and/or ~/.profile
