I heard somewhere that in 9.10, there would be better integration with Ubuntu. Is this true? What is expected to happen?

Edit: Here's what I heard,

1. Ubuntu will extract exe icons and use them instead of a generic Windows icon from the icon theme you have.

2. Wine C:\ Drive will be moved to Places.

3. Wine Config will be moved to the control panel and/or the preferences menu.

===============

I hope that happens actually. Also, in addition, I wouldn't mind,

4. Integrating the Program Files into its own folder on Applications (IE: Wine Applications)

5. Move Uninstall Wine Applications into number 4's menu, or put it in preferences/control panel.

WINE already extracts icons from windows binaries so this is a non issue.
The "C" drive won't be moved to Places and has no need to be.
And what is this control panel you speak of? I don't use Windows.
Last time I checked winecfg was linked from a .desktop file in the Applications/WINE menu, why change?

Never heard a damn word about any of this to be honest. Provide a source and I might be more inclined to believe it.
The Ubuntu devs and the community have agreed before that WINE integration is a step backwards not forwards.
