I started using KDE for a change, but instead of the latest firefox that I was getting in gnome, I am running ver3.5.4 pre shiretoko in kubuntu. I know that this was a pre-release version of firefox 3.5.

How do I upgrade to the lastest ver?

sudo apt-get install firefox just tells me that I have the latest version installed.

Thanks,

Firefox 3.5 is Shiretoko! That's just the "unbranded" name, but rest assured, you are indeed running the latest and greatest Firefox if you've got Shiretoko.

Shiretoko is Firefox 3.5.x, just with a different name to avoid confusion with the default version of Firefox (3.0.x).

You can install it with the command "sudo apt-get install firefox-3.5"
