...I guess...?

And, if this is in the wrong forum or something, sorry...I've never dealt with virtual machines or anything like this. Kind of a weird gray area. Anyway...

I'm using Virtualbox OSE 2.1.4 in Ubuntu NBR to try to get World of Warcraft working and everything works great (works better than when I just had Windows on here...lol) up until I click play at the screen that pops up when you run the program (I'm using the trial software that streams the game as you play). I click play and get this:

I don't quite know how to approach this problem since it's in a virtual machine. Do I need a driver?

No one has any ideas?

Running WoW in VirtualBox may not be your best option. Some people say (I don't play WoW myself) they have had much better luck running it under Wine. You might want to take a look at this guide and see if it provides any insight for you:

I'll give that a try. That's how my wife does it (she has the same computer as me, an HP Mini) and said she had the same problem.

Well, in any case, I hope you find a solution. When I was just Googling around about this particular issue, it seems like you're definitely not alone. Chances are some clever person out there has come up with a workaround somewhere if there are others experiencing the same problem. Best of luck to you!
