I have got my new hp mini 110 with readymade installed ubuntu (genome) desktop. The readymade installed Ubuntu (gnome) desktop looks very strange to me, I have never encountered with this kind of Ubuntu Desktop. You may have a look to this Desktop: please link to this website:

I do not see the panel in the desktop, where I can keep icons of various applications, for example terminal, open-office using write click and "Add to Panel". If I do "write click" at any place in my desktop, nothing happens. Can anybody help me to find the panel for this desktop ?

The readymade installed Ubuntu (gnome) desktop looks very strange to me, I have never encountered with this kind of Ubuntu Desktop.

It is an HP customised version of Ubuntu, made specifically for a the small screen normally found on a netbook.

I don't know if you can add a panel, but there certainly isn't one there to be "found"

Search with your favourite search engine, something like - screenshots hp mini - and you'll find plenty of reviews, demonstrations, etc that should help you familiarise yourself with the machine pretty quickly.
