it is odd, i have never been infected with a virus in windows xp or vista or windows 7. I know it is a problem as i work in IT but i personally have never had the issue.

than you just got lucky. I can't think of a time,when there hasn't been a virus on any win system. (no offense, but you may have just not picked the virus's up)

I have had lots of viruses on my XP, but none have had any affect on my system. Mostly all came from using Kazaa a long time ago and from myspace. My wife plays games on seversl sites and still has no real problems with viruses.

Got a message like this on the computer in work one day.. After i foolishly downloaded something which turned out to be about 250 viruses. Lovely.

Lots of people accually download this.

One calls itself 360, and people assume it's the norton program.

This one has some very bad grammar.

It's a scam to trick microsoft users to click on the link, which is how they install the malware to a windows computer.

The malware is in the program.

It can't hurt ubuntu.
