Wine with Window Live Messenger

I try to install Window Live Messenger using Wine but it doesn't work.Pidgin did not work either when I try to log in. Is there a limit of software that Wine can work? Or is there any internet messenger that allow me to log in to my Window Live Messenger?

try in pidgen going into the add account (thing that came up when you first opened it and instead of aim scroll down to msn
or the other option is to use amsn witch is in the repositarys (add/remove applications)

Miranda IM 0.7.19 works with Wine, for me at least.
