The main thing I've been missing from Windows since moving to Ubuntu is an animation suite I like to use called 4D Blue, url http://www.4dblue.com/. I tried to install it using the latest version of WINE, and it installed successfully but crashed when I tried to run it. I'm aware that it requires DirectX 9, which I have searched about but found no way to install. Do you know how I could solve this? I use Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope(9.04).
